Don't Give Up! Give up never, stand up from the rest. Give up never, stand up to the test. Many days your mind is troubled, many days, feels like the last. Conquer the future of tomorrow, by overcoming the fears of your past Don't Give Up! (C) 1997 Darlene S. Crowley (From the book Girl Or Boy?, written by Darlene S. Crowley) Posted 13:38 | 3 comments | The Realization Of God Being Real And Will Being Done So dynamic is the realization of God being real that you can't move, laying, sitting or standing there in total ecstasy because God's presence and empowerment is made known by a life-changing experience, a prayer answered, a hope realized, a sudden surprise or change of attitude or way of reacting that only God can make happen. It's felt, and is God's love and will being done, and doubts and fears, long-suffering and negativity we've been experiencing appears to have been all worthwhile just for that moment we realize how real God is and cares and is omnipotent and omniscient and can do whatever He pleases at any given time.
| Hey! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!, my dearie. I wish we would've been toasting it with champagne tonight, but a Fake-New Year's can always be had anytime. P.S.-I quit that job, so who's up for some art museum? Anyway, this posting has nothing to do with your art, so feel free to delete it. Talk to you soon, xo,Victoria
| Darlene Is Ten Times Cooler Than I Will Ever Be. Yo...so I'm computer illiterate, and I'm going to comment on your exhibition here. Anyway, I wanted to tell you that your images are sincerely powerful and disturbing. Why aren't cigarettes a banned drug? It's perplexing, and almost shocking to come back to Milwaukee after living paces like New York, Minneapolis where there is a public ban, and to see a few people's unhealthy choice imposed upon a room full of people. It's lunacy, and I can think of no more powerful way to call attention this than your images. They are not vague; they are undeniable, unglamorous, and are an effective counterbalance to every smoking ad, every image of old Hollywood glamour, out there. I hope this will be an ongoing project, and I'm proud of you. (Applause, Applause!) Talk to you soon, my sweet.x, Victoria
